Die Seisoen NA Somer…!

Hey guys and girls, so i took the time again today to give you something to look at.

The photos you see here is a band called: Die seisoen na somer, young band with a lot of potential. In our photogrophy school this was one of our assignments. We had to find a local band and take some nice photos of them. I think i did well for my first time, working with a group of people. Would love to do it again, great fun and i learnt alot during this.

Check’em out Mate

I haven’t had that many chances to go out and take photos but here and there I did take some … One of them was a photo shoot that me and, Meg van de Ruit, did she ask me to help her in this. She had this couple came for a shoot and I think we did a pretty good job out off what we had. We quickly put up something that looks like a little studio and took some great pics. They were very photogenic and easy to work with.

Meg did most of the work she was the “director” if you want to call it that, telling them how to pose and me what angles to shoot from.

Meg is a very artistic person, with some amazing talents! i love creative people there is something about them that just amaze me, I’m working very hard on mine, think its going to take a wile… lol

Time and time again…

Hey guys so it been awhile since my last update, and I’m deeply sorry for that. You know you get those days were you are SO tired, or should I just call it plain to lazy, to do anything … Aaawww but it’s SO much trouble loading everything on here its going to take TOO long or I’ve got something better to do with my time!

Well that’s how it was with me since I finished photography school in December.

The point I want to bring forward to you guys is that there is time for everything in life its just a matter of how you use it. So plan wisely and don’t be lazy! I’m preaching to myself here as well. Lol

Other than that I’ve been pretty busy since December, got the opportunity to go take some big photo shoots at some end year functions and parties and got good money for it as well … pretty cite about that. “Photography school paid off ”

(Just so by the way I loved that school and I would advise a lot off people to go do one )

Then at the beginning of this year I started my DTS ( Discipleship Training  School ) part off  YWAM. And I’m still currently very busy with that until end of May I think. The DTS is an intensive Christian training course beginning with a 12-week lecture/teaching phase, followed by 8 to 12 weeks of practical field assignment. The DTS is designed to encourage students in personal development, cultivating a living Relationship with God and identifying their unique individual gifts and callings in God. Ill keep you updated on how it’s all going.

Daily rush

Blue yes it was a darkish `blue that was the colors I remember, the sun was setting just over the horizon, the earth getting darker and darker… I was caught up in my own time my own thoughts, memories that was and have been. I stood there until it was pitch black. Nothing but the ocean crashing and rumbling in my ear.  The soft fluffy sea sand filled with little rocks was tickling my feet as the water pulled away beneath me.

Calm as a cucumber I was , then BOOM ! It hit me it struck me right between the eyes some random guy through me with his shoe. I was furious mad as hell.

I raised my hands, put it on his shoulders and said: “Sun, ill forgive you this time.”

New-York… Yeah

New York 030.E

Today was my first experience in spreading God’s word through a photo … We went to the homeless shelter in Muizenburg to go take some photos of the people there. I was quite nervous  at first, seeing all these homeless people sitting there stairing at us. I didn’t think they would open up to me at first but i was wrong. When i introduced myself and opened up to them , after that it was so easy they just started talking.

I really enjoyed today, seeing how different people use different techniques to spread the Gospel and word of God, through talking photos off them. And also the message that came with it.
